When designing everyday bags for Sandqvist it was important to keep the brand heritage intact whilst looking to the future. We used subtle heritage details such as leather patches and traditional functions but aimed to give the products a more contemporary vibe with new materials and a range of colours that feels relevant yet timeless.
Function and comfort is key when designing bags and we tried to incorporate as much function as possible without disturbing a clean aesthetic.
We also worked hard to create a library of sustainable materials and we managed to shift to materials made from sustainable resources for all these products.
